Sheet type and gauge, screws, flashing, any wood replaced and the total. Not a number on WhatsApp.
Don't pay it all up front
A deposit for materials is normal. Pay the rest as the work is done and checked.
Ask for photos
Of the problem before and of the fix after, especially what's hidden under the sheets.
Ask about strapping
When sheets are off, it's the cheapest time to add hurricane straps and fix rotten wood.
Check past jobs

Test after rain
